Where Did 2009 Go?
November 2009, Vol. #38
A Pip-Pip Cheerio to all our readers out in Boure-Land! It seems like just yesterday we were sipping Brett's Special Margaritas (BSMs) in his backyard and avoiding sunburn on our pointy heads. Now we're huddled indoors watching Eddy Merckx videos, sipping hot choco-lattes and adjusting our saddles by a millimeter here and there, just like the Cannibal himself. No sense in crying over miles missed, now's the time to buck up and start planning your next epic season and new personal mileage records. So get out there and spend the next few cold months accumulating base miles and new equipment for that record-setting season.
We've been busy updating the Boure web site with more-dialed-in sizing info, along with a fresh new look, better pictures and less clutter for your viewing pleasure... if that sort of thing pleases your viewership. Please check it out and let us know if you find any problems (Free socks if you do!).
Our good friends at RoadBikeRider.com just put out some useful and timely advice on cold weather riding from a famous fellow Coloradan and first American stage winner at the Tour De France, Davis Phinney. This information can be found in the RoadBikeRider.com Newsletter Issue No. 418 - 11/12/09 on the RBR web site. If you somehow missed Davis Phinney's career, here is a good review on Wikipedia.
Once again and as usual, we've cleverly timed our Sale on season-specific items to match the ever-changing seasons. No clearance of last season's leftovers, just "What you Need, When you Need it Sales" for our dedicated customers. Read on to find out what's on sale, what's new, and where to find fun and entertaining bicycling (or not) related subjects. Keep your eyes peeled and sharpened, because coming soon will be the Christmas Specials Newsletter, where you'll find a wide range of Specials in every price range to fit every budget. Since that's coming right up, we'll keep this newsletter short, sweet and entertaining.

Thermal Jerseys, Jackets & Vests Sale... and New Arrivals
Well, we moved through the lower body and thought we'd try and knock out your entire torso in one fell swoop. Many of you responded to our Sales on Elite Thermo knickers, then tights, and now it's time to move above the belt, but not all the way to the noggin'. Take advantage of this infrequent sale on our super functional and comfortable thermal jerseys, jackets and vests. Additionally, we've introduced a new blue material for a colored addition to the Classic shorts line. Lastly, please tell all your friends that we've acquired some great Merino Wool Retro Trainers and Jerseys (in very limited quantities, so get yours before you tell your buddies!)

These are for everybody, adult or not... it probably won't matter. No real adult humor, nor real adult language, so you can share these with your kids and parents. They may, however, inspire you to greatness and misty-eyed memories. Please share the wealth and pay them forward!
